Supplies Needed:

Patterned Paper : Scenic Route Paper Co.
Cardstock:Provo Craft white (1 piece for the background and smaller pieces to make the Masquepen accents)
Button: Making Memories
Twill:Scenic Route Paper Co.
Paint: Making Memories – mango, strawberries & cream, honeydew; Americana Deco Art baby blue.
Flower: Michaels
Other Embellishments: Rubons – Making Memories; Stickers – SEI; Safety pin – Making Memories

Tips, Techniques or Instructions:

  1. Cut two pieces of white cardstock 2 ½ by 3 ½ inches.

  2. Using the Masquepen with the Super Nib, draw a flower on each piece and let it dry. Rinse out your SuperNib immediately after use.

  3. On a 5 ½ x 2 ½ inch piece of Scenic Route word paper, draw the outline of the letter “F” in Masquepen and fill it in. Let it dry. Because this is so much thicker than the flowers, it will take a little longer to dry. You can use a hairdryer set on low to speed up this process.

  4. Paint over the flowers and word paper with acrylic paint and let dry.

  5. When removing the Masquepen, be sure to rub and roll it off, rather than pulling it off to avoid having your paint and paper tear or separate.

  6. To assemble the rest of the layout, you will need two pieces of the floral Scenic Route paper 2 x 8 ½ inches and 1 ½ x 6 inches; a 3 x 3 ½ and ¼ by 2 ½ (for tag)inch piece of striped Scenic Route paper; a ½ x 2 ½ inch piece of Scenic Route word paper; a 4x6 photo; a small shipping tag; large flower; button; safety pin; SEI letter stickers and two small pieces of twill.

  7. Stitch the pieces down as shown. Assemble the tag and use the safety pin to attach it to the twill on the button of the flower and adhere the flower to the layout.
